Top three ways to reignite your workout passion

 

Struggling to get motivated and reignite your passion for working out? Here are a few tips to shake up your routine, or if you’re someone who dreads your workout each day, then these tips will get you back enjoying your workouts

  1. Find something new

If the very thought of going to workout makes you want to go take a nap, it is time to switch it up. If you’re feeling bored or unmotivated, try something new. It could be as simple as signing up for a weekly sport, or trying a zumba class! Haven’t tried our yoga or strength class yet? Try it! You never know what workout you’ll fall in love with, so even if it’s a little out of your comfort zone, give it a chance and see what happens. You just might find your newest workout routine!

  1. Do more active things throughout your day.

It’s easy to be more active without it even feeling like a workout. Take the stairs, take your pet for a walk, go dancing with friends, try hiking, or park further away. Even grab yourself a pedometer or fitbit and watch your activity skyrocket! These little things add up over time, and help you stay active!

  1. Surround yourself with inspiration and motivation.

Sometimes the biggest thing we need to get ourselves back on track is just a little extra motivation. Find ways to stay inspired about your fitness goals by following creating an inspiring desktop background for your computer, or create a Pinterest board of things that motivate you and look at it when you’re not feeling your workout that day. This simple tip helps me on days that I’m just not feeling like getting my sweat on.

 

It can be discouraging to lose the fun in your fitness routine, but trying these three tips are a great way to shake things up and get back enjoying workouts, keeping fit and staying healthy! You could even find a friend to try these with you for extra accountability.
